Who we are
Smitty and Sons Gutters LLC ("Smitty and Sons Gutters", "we", "us") is a gutter installation company based in Fayetteville, GA. You can reach us at smittyandsonsgutters@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you request an estimate through a form on this site, we collect what you type into it: your mobile number, name, the type of project, your ZIP code, and optionally your email address and any notes. We also record which page and form the request came from, any campaign tags in the page address, and whether you agreed to receive text messages, so we know how you found us and how we may contact you.
Please do not send payment card details or other sensitive personal information through this website.
Why we collect it
To respond to your request, schedule your estimate, prepare your quote, and follow up about your project. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Your details are handled by Smitty and Sons Gutters LLC and by the service providers that help us run the business, such as our marketing agency, form and automation tools, and our email and text messaging providers. They process your information on our behalf only. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messages
If you tick the SMS consent box, we may text you about your estimate. That consent is optional and is never a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Terms & Conditions.
Cookies and advertising measurement
This site uses cookies and similar technology (small files and identifiers your browser stores) for site analytics and advertising measurement.
Site analytics. We use PostHog to count visits, see which pages and buttons people use, and measure which ads and links bring visitors who request an estimate. Until you make a choice on the privacy banner, PostHog runs without storing cookies on your device.
Session recording, only if you choose “Allow”. With your permission, PostHog records how you use this site, such as clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and the pages you view, so we can find and fix problems. Anything you type into a form is hidden from these recordings. If you choose “No thanks”, or make no choice, nothing is recorded.
Advertising measurement. We use the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. When you visit, it sends Meta information such as the pages you view, the fact that you submitted a request, and technical details like your IP address and browser. Meta may connect this to your Meta account and use it to show you ads, under Meta’s own privacy policy. Some state privacy laws call this “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising. To limit this, you can block or delete cookies in your browser, turn on your browser’s tracking protection, or change your ad settings with Meta.
Your choices. To change your session recording choice, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will still work. You can manage the ads Meta shows you at facebook.com/adpreferences. PostHog and Meta process this information on our behalf to provide these services; we do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests as long as we need them to serve you and meet our record-keeping obligations. Consent and opt-out records are kept as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing smittyandsonsgutters@gmail.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
